Educational Workshop
For several years now, the MAC has been at the forefront of activities and seminars focusing on archaeological outreach, offering proposals and workshops dedicated to schools.

To schedule school activities, please use the dedicated form or email info@museocasteggio.it. For payments by schools for individual workshops, the MAC will use the Pago PA – Città di Casteggio system, with the appropriate payment slip issued at the Museum ticket office.

Cave painting
After a brief introduction on rock art (techniques, colours, media), pupils will try their hand at reproducing a Palaeolithic rock painting.

Ceramics
The pupils’ activity will consist of making antique objects using the ‘colombina’ technique.

The Mosaic (NOT AVAILABLE)
After an introductory lesson, this will be followed by the pupils making a small mosaic based on the models provided.

The birth of writing
After a short introductory lesson on the birth of writing (ideograms, cuneiform writing, hieroglyphics, Latin script on a waxed tablet), the pupils will try their hand at making a cuneiform tablet and an example of Latin cursive on a waxed tablet.
